It is a feature film co-produced by Colombia, England, the USA, and France, which explores the invisible wounds left by child abuse and the complex path toward justice, told through the eyes of two victims.
The film aims to raise awareness, foster empathy, and spark discussion about a reality that too often remains hidden: the abuse of minors
Nobody´s daughters is the story of two underage girls who were abused by the same man, who impregnated them and forced them to flee without assuming the paternity of their children. After Santo's death, the lawyer Fernando Merchán, together with his childhood friend María Luisa, who was one of the victims, initiate a judicial process to seek justice. Cira, a 12-year-old peasant girl was also a survivor, but along with some other girls was not included in the case.
