7 YEARS OF SILENCE
THEATRE / TOURING
Seven Years of Silence is rooted in the experience of immigration, and the shock that a migrant feels upon arriving in another country, discovering a new language and culture, and confronting hardships such as loneliness, and sometimes sadness and frustration upon failing to reach the goals that her or she is pursuing. The story is told through the life of a woman, using poetry and humour to recount how the discovery of an ideal world is tainted with disappointment when
it becomes impossible to join it.
