 We Produce artistic content based on social and political observation. We conceive creations that’s promote peace and understanding between people in the UK and Latin America.

We combine expertise in cinema and theatre, to influence creative people.  We build networks and explore creative ideas. 

We work directly with individuals to help them gain the skills, confidence, and connections to transform their lives and shape a better world in partnership with the UK. 

 

Engaging with major international actors and developing collaborations with partners in the UK and abroad to launch an ambitious creation, in the UK in Spanish and English in Latin America.

 

Young people and professional artists, transform their lives and shape a better world in partnership with the UK through increased skills in cinema and theatre, confidence to speak and work in a foreign language, English and Spanish, and promote exchange and connections in another continent.

Why we do it

Zona Sur aims to rethink Latin American Art and Politics, through cinema, theater and leaning training.

The generic term “Latin American art”as well as “Latin American polictics ” continues to be extremely problematic, because of its nationalistic undertones and its origins as an imposed, stereotypical, unifying idea. 

We are a unique production company that aims to promote and generate innovative creations into the Latin America identity in theatre, cinema, and politics in Uk.
